This is a long story, so please bear with me.

Background of the People Involved
#

This incident has escalated to a level akin to a civil dispute. The main people involved are three:

  • Red (pseudonym) — the person involved, the victim
  • Xiaochen (pseudonym) — neighbor, person involved, victim
  • Liu (pseudonym) — the perpetrator

For ease of narration, I will lay out the whole thing in a timeline.

How Xiaochen and Liu First Met
#

In February 2025, Liu, Xiaochen, and Xiaoyin (not closely related) agreed to go to Chengdu Qinglong Lake Park together. Because Xiaochen wasn’t in good physical shape, he didn’t want to walk after a short while. Liu suddenly offered to carry him on his back—they weren’t familiar with each other at that time. Xiaochen found this person a bit strange and initially refused, but after Liu’s repeated requests, he agreed.

Unexpectedly, Liu called other tourists to secretly take photos of him carrying Xiaochen—and Xiaochen was completely unaware of this. Even worse, Liu posted the photos on his Moments with disgusting captions, set to be visible only to certain groups. That’s why Xiaochen never noticed this post.

Around early April, Liu sent Xiaochen some fruit and forced Xiaochen to accept it. Xiaochen reluctantly gave an address of a parcel station. Later, Liu often came to Chengdu to hang out with Xiaochen and even treated him to a hotpot meal.

My (Red’s) Interaction with Liu
#

On March 28, 2026, Liu added me as a friend via QQ Zone, and the verification passed at 6:40.

After adding, he chatted with me about a lot—history, planets… all sorts of random topics. I didn’t delete him right away, just kept him for the time being. At 7:20, he said he was going to morning self-study, and I immediately became suspicious: Which school has morning self-study starting at 7:20? This person gave me a weird feeling.

At 13:31 that day, he asked if I was a freshman in high school, claiming he was a freshman in 2021**. Later, he said he was a science-track transfer senior repeat student.

In the evening, he started asking for my name.

I was a bit confused: whether someone tells you their real name or not, what difference does it make? Later, I went to school, and he kept sending me messages—I really regret not deleting him right then.

Later, he said he wanted to come see me. What? I’ve only known him for a few days, and he wants to meet already? He also told me that Xiaochen’s parents have a “controlling tendency” toward Xiaochen—what we ordinary people understand as control is definitely oppression, not allowing going out, having to follow everything… but the later explanation was completely different!

I decided to test him, replied with “Mm-hmm,” and he actually believed it. After that, no matter what he sent, I ignored it.

I went to QQ Zone and found out—he came to my QQ Zone every day to look at the photo albums! And with people in them! I felt a sense of being watched, utterly disgusted, so I immediately locked my Zone.

Threats
#

I always thought that if I ignored him, he would ignore me too. But that wasn’t the case.

On April 4, he directly threatened me:

“Either you lift that thing and talk properly, don’t play dead there, or I’ll just block you.”

I was scared and blocked him without a second thought.

However… the next day, he brought his classmate into it, demanding that I apologize to him!

I was utterly speechless.

His classmate only knew he was 19—it can be said that he hid his true age from everyone. Even worse, he randomly posted other people’s photos! I was furious—how dare he use my photos without permission? He never mentioned a word about what he had done!

Xiaochen’s Experience
#

My part is temporarily over; let me continue with Xiaochen’s side.

From April 1 to the Qingming Festival, Liu kept asking Xiaochen if he wanted to go out. Xiaochen brushed it off with the tomb-sweeping excuse. Guess what Liu said to me? “Tomb-sweeping is meaningless to anyone.” I can only say he is extremely prejudiced.

After that, he asked Xiaochen every day what he was doing. How is this like a senior high school student? He clearly knew Xiaochen didn’t want to talk to him, yet he kept harassing him—others also have to go to school!

Later, Xiaochen said his mom didn’t allow him to hang out with Liu. Guess what happened?

Liu directly took the high-speed rail to Chengdu, went to his mom’s shop, and “poured two hours of sweet talk.” When the mom came home, she scolded Xiaochen. Xiaochen completely broke down and showed the chat records to his mom—after reading them, she said nothing.

Two days later, Liu went to see his mom again, this time directly accusing her of having “control issues.”

And what did he understand as “control”?—When a child goes out to play, the parents ask: “Where are you going?” “Who are you going with?” “What kind of person is that?”… Isn’t that the parents’ duty???

Fortunately, after this, Xiaochen cut ties with Liu. But little did we expect—

Continuous Harassment
#

After Xiaochen deleted him as a friend, Liu found Xiaochen’s contact information through various channels, saying “return the money”—the so-called fruit money, the full amount of the hotpot, and the hundreds of yuan in red envelopes forced on Xiaochen (totaling less than 150 yuan).

This is simply inhuman. He also threatened that if the money wasn’t returned, he would go to Xiaochen’s school to spread rumors and tell the head teacher, with the goal of getting his Strong Foundation Plan canceled!

What broke me the most last week was—Liu somehow got my friend’s WeChat and sent him inexplicable messages. The thought of it is terrifying!

Epilogue
#

Please judge: who is at fault? Xiaochen is already prepared to file a police report.

I was very emotional when writing this article, so the writing might be a bit messy. Please forgive me.
